Nearby activities include the Children's Museum of
Virginia, Courthouse Galleries, Lightship Museum,
Naval Shipyard Museum. There are a wide variety of
restaurants ranging from basic to haute cuisine; see the
Portsmouth website or stop at the Concierge Tent for info. Of
course, there is also food at the show site including crab
cakes, hot dogs, kettle corn, ice cream, soft ice cream, snow
cones, etc. Ample parking is available including 3 nearby
garages, and all street parking is free on weekends -- don't
feed the meters! There are indoor restrooms, maintained
daily, at the street edge of the Water Street Parking garage,
just adjacent to the show. |
